My most recent painting, this was completed September 2024 and captures the growth I’ve had as a self taught painter over the last few years. To visually see and recognize your own progress is the best feeling as an artist!

This painting was simply inspired by this stunning image of Alicia Keys, one of my favorite artists. I was intrigued by the challenge of fading a sunset into reflecting water. The original is fixed with an ultra glossy varnish on the bottom half to enhance the reflective quality.

The inspiration for this piece was the idea of “impossible conversations” between two artists. I was intrigued by the overlap of influence between Basquiat, (visual), and Jay-Z, (musical), and how artistry can flow seamlessly between different times and industries.

A fan favorite, this painting celebrates Alvin Iverson, Shaq, and the late Kobe Bryant. This was the first painting I did that involved athletes and improved my skill set to incorporate moving bodies and muscles.

This iconic Ruth Badger Ginsburg image was painted as a tribute when she passed away and the original artwork was gifted to my mom. I love using pop art elements like this polka dot background to contrast the realism style and bring a more playful spirit to the portrait. It is one of my personal favorite pieces I’ve ever done.
